In frame of Medevac programme a delivery of medical devices (as tied financial donation) intended for Hôpital Régional El Hadji Ahmadou Sakhie Ndieguène in Thiès was realized. It concerned the healthcare equipment for operating theatre as well as sub-delivery of medical instruments and devices focused on gynaecology, orthopaedics, ORL and into ambulance cars. A dozen of Czech heathcare manufacturers were involved in this deal, namely Linet, MZ Liberec, Royax, Ego Zlín, Medin, Comedeq, Sivak Medical Technology, Ortex, BMT, Cheirón a TSE.
Installation, commissioning and training of local staff was entrusted to company MZ Liberec. Handover and opening ceremony took place on Apr 28, 2023 attended by H.E. Minister of Interior and Vice-Prime Minister of Czech Government, Mr.Vít Rakušan, mayor of Thiès, vice-governor of region and representatives from Health Ministry.
