For more than 50 years company MZ Liberec, a.s. is focused on development, producing and installation of terminal units for medical gases distribution systems including fittings. At the meantime it delivers its products and services into more than 28 countries.
Company MZ Liberec a.s. was founded in 1992 by plant 09 of company Montážní závody Liberec privasitation, which ensured medical and technical gases distribution systems in the whole Czechoslovakia and in selected hospitals in Comecon. This way the new company reassumed to the more than 25 years long experience and tradition.
In the nineties there have appeared new competing companies in the Czech Republic. Despite this fact, MZ Liberec a.s. has held its leading possition in the Czech Republic market. It is mainly thanks to the methodical preparing of the new products. Company put its mind in the production and assembly of the terminal units of medical gases supply system (head bed units, source bridges, rotary ceiling complexes etc.), which are used for equipment of ICU and ARD units, and sick-bed rooms as well.
Besides distribution systems and their terminal units we provide deliveries and completing of sources, i.e. compressor, vacuum, reducing stations and interconnecting of vaporization plants. These systems are completed both from our own production and imported components enabling adaptability to the user´s equipment. In 2001 company MZ Liberec s.r.o. gained the quality management system certificate according to ISO 9001/95 and ISO 13485/96. In January 2004 the company has been transformed into a joint-stock company. In spring 2004 the company was re-certificated for quality management system according to ISO 9001 (2000) and ISO 13485 (2000). In June 2004 MZ Liberec, a.s. obtained CE certificate for medical equipment Class II a) and II b). Nowadays the company with its number of employees and yearly turnover appears the largest company in the Czech Republic in its specialization. Beside supplies and installations in the Czech Republic MZ Liberec, a.s. delivers its products to Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania, Ukraine, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, China, Egypt, Belorussia, Russia, Italy and Poland. Many other states of Europe, Asia and Africa show their interest in products of MZ Liberec a.s.
Company´s business intent is to provide the complete service to the customer (from status assessment, through project engineering to proposal and realisation of the delivery), and continuous care of quality running of the delivered system for customer´s utter satisfaction. The permanent offer for all hospitals in the Czech Republic for the free of charge inspection of their medical gases distribution system can serve as an evidence of this attitude. This inspection is done by our specialist with the regard on the new valid standards, namely standard CSN EN 7396-1 (2007).
